Maintenance
Gibson Wight have been in involved in the heating, ventilation and plumbing industry for 80 years during which time we have provided a first class service to the construction industry, manufacturing, commerce and the domestic customer.
We carry out maintenance contracts for mechanical building services in all types of buildings, from extensive commercial and domestic local authority contracts down to the smallest domestic servicing and repair works. We have a very experienced staff and workforce within this department, most of whom have been with the company for many years, giving stability and reliability; commodities which are not always available in this industry.
Each engineer has a fully stocked van equipped with satellite tracking which is linked to the control centre in Kilmarnock. Full use is made of the latest information technology to log and track all calls within our networked computer system, which is constantly updated and information is instantly available.
Close relationships have built up over the years with many customers in all fields and of all sizes; we value these ties and are very keen to develop such relationships. We feel it is vitally important to understand customer needs and this can be achieved by such close relationships.
Considerable investment has been put into training, particularly in relation to gas and oil fired burner technology in order that we can provide as flexible a service as possible. We are members of the Heating and Ventilating Contractors' Association, Electrical Contractors' Association of Scotland, Scottish and Northern Ireland Plumbing Employers' Federation and are registered with Gas Safe Register and OFTEC.
