Having been first established by Samuel Gibson in 1924, the company has now been in business for over 80 years, during which time we are proud to have provided a first class service in the field of heating and related building services to the construction industry, manufacturing, commerce and the domestic customer.
Now under the control of the grandson of the founder, the company is firmly established in Scotland as a major force. Customers include local authorities, health boards, public bodies, building contractors, manufacturers, retail outlets and many private domestic customers.
The strength of the company has been built up through its attention to customers' requirements and the desire to provide a quality service at all times. Considerable investment has been put into training and equipment in order to ensure the company is able to deliver a service backed up by current technology.
Every customer is important to us, regardless of size, and it is our aim to ensure that we provide a quality service at all times. To underpin our determination to provide such a service, we have achieved certification of our Quality Management System to BS EN ISO 9001 : 2008, and we have passed the HVCA Inspection and Assessment audit.
Health and Safety is treated as a critically important issue and we have been assessed under the Envirotec Contractors' Compliance Scheme, as well as being members of Ayrshire Construction Safety Group and registered with CHAS.
We carry professional indemnity, contractors all risks and liability insurances to appropriate levels.
We are members of the Heating and Ventilating Contractors' Association, Electrical Contractors' Association of Scotland, Scottish and Northern Ireland Plumbing Employers' Federation and are registered with Gas Safe Register and OFTEC.
